• Should I make a Greek will?
  
  If you or a relative should die while residing in Greece, the Greek law is responsible for your estate. A solicitor will be able to take you through the process without difficulty and New Century can recommend a reputable one for you.
  
  
• Can I use my UK driving license in Greece?
  
  Yes, you are permitted to drive with your UK licence.
  
  
• Contracts
  
  Once you have selected your dream home in Crete, a private purchase contract is made between yourself and the builder.
  When the property is completed, the official contract is drawn up by a Greek Public Notary and then signed by both parties.
  Once signed you receive an official copy of the Contract, another official copy is kept by the Greek Public Notary while the original is sent to the Land (Mortgage) Registry .
